Vintage Hunting Whip by Frost of Bawtry & York - w1835 dec23 Weight : 2¼oz (63g)This whip has a staghorn or antler hook shaped handle There is a button on the heel of the horn, this is stamped "Frost Bawtry York". There is an image of the shopfront of Frost Saddlers in Bawtry in the mid 20th century on the website of the Doncaster Free Press. It has two nickel collars with ribbed edges. Between the collars the whip is covered in brown leather with a finely stitched seamThe rest of the stock or shaft is covered in braided thread
