The YLC 20 employs passive direction finding L band waves to detect airborne and land based electronic emissions. It also employs diversified frequency ranges in order to counter act electronic counter measures that may be employed. The YLC 20 is allegedly able to detect targets upto 200km away even in ECM heavy environments by using Digital Moving Target
