Epidendrum xanthinum Rossioglossum species Picture is representative of flowerEpidendrum xanthinum is a reed stem Epi from Brazil and Columbia, they are found from 4000 to 8000 foot elevations in bright light situations with little shade. The flowers are 1 inch in size and bright yellow, clustered in a ball and in bloom from spring through fall. We are growing them at intermediate temps, 45 90F, and 2000 3000 footcandles. Ours are blooming size and are shipped out of pot.
