Mengungkap Pola Nitik Dalam Wastra Batik Art India and ChinaNitik is a decorative type of ceplokan composed of fine lines, small blocks, rectangles, and fine dots that at first glance resemble weaving. The nitik decoration is influenced by patola cloth, a double ikat weave made from silk from India. In the Javanese palace, this cloth is called cinde, it is a favorite cloth in the palace, worn by kings and nobles on special occasions, and also by bedaya ketawang dancers (a sacred bedaya dance in the palace).
