It was quite possibly named after the Elven port of Harlond in the north. Aragorn and the Black Ships (with the Grey Company and the army of the dead) docked there in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, where the hosts of Sauron thought them to be the newly arrived Corsairs of Umbar.
